Our Mission
The Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s purpose is to enhance,
educate, nurture, and network Hispanic
business while preserving Latino culture.
The Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber would like to welcome you to our website and to introduce you to the businesses that make up our membership. Our goal is to meet the needs of the Hispanic business community and allow Hispanic and non Hispanic businesses to collaborate on business opportunities that enhance the entire community.
Gary Johnson - NOHCC President
Our Purpose
The NOHCC is committed to providing information and assistance to its membership by serving as a referral and resource center. The NOHCC monitors local, state, and national programs and legislation to evaluate the impact on Hispanic owned businesses.
As an advocate for the Hispanic business community, the NOHCC works with corporate America and government agencies to identify ways to provide opportunities for greater economic development.
Our History
The Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce evolved from the former Northwest Ohio Hispanic Business Association (NOHBA). The NOHBA was formed in 1987 by a group of Hispanic business owners alarmed over the low participation of Latino businesses in the private and public sector.
Incorporated in 1998, the Hispanic Chamber functions with a membership of a voluntary board and network of supporters who together seek and advocate the economic development and success of Hispanics in business.

Welcome to the grand opening of our new website, I hope you find this site useful and a great tool to help you with your business. Please let us know what you think and add any suggestions that you feel would improve the site. I would also like to take time to thank Brandi Polling and Matt Johnson for all of the ahrd work they put into making this website happen.
I just wanted to let you know about the trip that Hernan Vasquez and I took to Marysville Ohio to the Honda Plant. Honda Management has asked every Hispanic Chamber in the state of Ohio to become a member of an advisory council to Honda to help increase the amount of Hispanic suppliers and contractors that do business with Honda. This is an exciting opportunity for Hispanic businesses to increase their capacity and business volume with a company that is looking for what we have to offer. More on that as we move forward to rolling out the opportunity.
On another note The Chamber is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the financing program for minority contractors. We met with the Port Authority and other stake holders to implement a plan to roll the program out in the beginning of the fourth quarter if all goes well.
Our Expo V is right around the corner and we can use your help! Please contact Bernadette Del Gado and she will let you know how you can help.
See at our next meeting, August 2.

Gary Johnson
NOHCC President
